[she/her] is ecstatic to be a part of this super sleuthin’ production! Madison’s previous credits include It’s a Wonderful Life (MARY BAILEY) at the CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck, Emilie La Marquise … Defends Her Life Tonight (EMILIE) with Rhinebeck Theatre Society, and Bear Arms Comics: A Night of Improv (PERFORMER). When she’s not on stage, she’s begging her tomato plants to grow and helping turtles cross the road. Madison would like to thank: her family, especially her parents; Parker, for the opportunity and direction; Steavie, for being such a fun superbrain; the entire cast and crew, for their dedication and hard work; and you, dear reader! 

Steavie Hergenrader Reed (Ms. Sherlock Holmes)

is delighted to be unraveling the scarlet thread throughout the skein of life with this cast and crew who are anything but elementary. She has appeared at County Players in Calendar Girls (CORA GLEAVE), Ada and the Engine (ADA BYRON LOVELACE), George Washington’s Teeth (JESS WILDER), and Mary’s Wedding (MARY). Other recent acting credits include Merry Wives (MISTRESS QUICKLY), Into the Breeches! (JUNE BENNETT), Romeo and Juliet (ROMEO), As You Like It (CELIA), and The Crucible (ABIGAIL WILLIAMS).

Janet E. Nurre (Irene Adler, Mrs. Hudson, & Others)

has appeared in many previous County Players productions, most recently Ragtime (ENSEMBLE), Calendar Girls (JESSIE), and Ada and the Engine (MARY SOMMERVILLE). Other recent credits include Romeo and Juliet (LADY MONTAGUE) with Brewster Theater Company, The Language Archive (EMMA) with CENTERstage Productions, and Constellations (MARIANNE) with Rosendale Theater Collective. Janet is a veterinary receptionist in real life and is a proud member of SHINee World and BTS ARMY. She is grateful to her allies and accomplices, and the patrons, donors, and volunteers who cultivate the Hudson Valley arts community.

Michael J. Frohnhoefer (Inspector Lestrade, Elliot Monk, & Others)

is happy to be on stage at County Players. Having previously played the roles of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson in A Sherlock Showcase (Elmwood Playhouse), he is very excited to explore more characters from the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle universe. “Thanks to all who help with the backstage magic; you are all so important!
